MOVE Congress 2021

We're celebrating the 10th anniversary of the MOVE Congress in Brussels, Belgium on 17-19 November 2021 with an interactive conference that aims to bring people in the grassroots sport and physical activity sector back together to master a new era of their work.

Limited seats are available for the in-person event at the Maison de la Poste venue in Tour & Taxis’ historic warehouses, where we expect to host 250 conference delegates for 3 days of interactive networking, workshops and masterclasses. Selected sessions will also be streamed online.

The conference is supported by Visit Brussels and the European Commission (through projects including the Integration of Refugees Through Sport Networking Platform).

The MOVE Congress 2021 programme includes:

  • Inspiring presentations from people who have overcome challenging circumstances to gain a political edge in sport and physical activity, social inclusion and advocacy.
  • Reconnect, Rebuild and Restart workshops and masterclasses led by industry experts specialising in fields such as politics, advocacy and sport diplomacy; placemaking and active space design; integration and inclusion of refugees through sport; establishing partnerships with high profile organisations; physical activity and mental health; and design thinking for a new era.
  • Integration of Refugees Through Sport Awards and guest speakers from high profile humanitarian organisations.
  • ‘Restart your network’ online and in-person opportunities to connect.
