The MOVING People - MOVING Europe Conference (13 November 2024) and side events
MOVING People – MOVING Europe Conference will gather engaged people promoting grassroots sport, health-enhancing physical activity (HEPA) and explore how they contribute to healthy lifestyles, inclusion and integration.
The fourth edition of the conference is being organised by the International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA) and co-hosted by Sports Union of Slovenia and National Institute of Public Health in Ljubljana on 13 November 2024 with side events / meetings / workshops on 11, 12 and 14 November. Please follow guidelines for registration from the Info pack you received from your project coordinator.
This year’s conference and meetings are dedicated to a Healthy Lifestyle 4 All and to strengthening the dynamics of our sector, particularly among ISCA members, stakeholders and partners. With the conference and side events in Ljubljana, we would like to build the capacities of ISCA’s member organisations and beyond to understand, plan and deliver health-enhancing physical activities for a range of different target groups and settings. And last, but not least, to build a network of different projects and partners and discuss future collaborations.
During 5 days in Ljubljana, we will address the following topics:
Mental health and well-being for disadvantaged target groups through “ABCs of Mental Health” model
How digital transformation and innovation could be harnessed to build resilience and capacity in the grassroots sport and physical activity sector to make it #DigiFit
How to guide sports clubs in establishing healthy, value-based esports activities?
Inter-generational relations and increased physical activity by setting up an innovative sustainable GUM programme - Generations United through Movement
Networking and advocating for Integration of Refugees Through Sport
How to rethink sport and physical activity offers in the city through placemaking concept?
Enhancing participation in physical activities among older people.
